COSB60: Contemporary Korean Society

This course provides students with fundamental knowledge about central issues in contemporary Korean society.

The course focuses on Korea post-Cold War, covering topics such as popular culture, gender, and demographic issues. The course also includes Korean politics, addressing domestic politics in both North and South Korea, as well as inter-Korean relations. Finally, the course explores Korea's growing presence in the regional and international arena.
