Focus Asia is a series of public lectures that the Centre organised regularly between 2004 and 2018. The lectures were given in English, and admission was free of charge. With these public lectures, the Centre intended to provide an opportunity to all those interested to hear Europe’s best scholars in East and South-East Asian Studies speak on important topics concerning contemporary East and South-East Asia.
