Dr Astrid Norén-Nilsson has guest edited a special issue for Contemporary Southeast Asia

The special issue, guest edited by Neil Loughlin and Astrid Norén-Nilsson, sheds new light on the CPP's ongoing attempts to recalibrate its mode of governance and the future it envisages for Cambodia. It includes two articles by Astrid Norén-Nilsson: "Introduction to Special Issue: The Cambodian People’s Party’s Turn to Hegemonic Authoritarianism: Strategies and Envisaged Futures" (co-authored with Neil Loughlin), and "Youth Mobilization, Power Reproduction and Cambodia’s Authoritarian Turn".
