Alumnus Korakit Choomgrant awarded doctoral degree

A late congratulations to Asian studies alumnus Korakit Choomgrant who was awarded a doctoral degree on August 13, 2015.

The title of his dissertation was ”Out of the Closet: An Understanding of ’Queer Heritage' in the Context of Southeast Asia”.

Korakit graduated from the Masters Programme in Asian Studies in 2009. He is currently an assistant dean for students affairs and lecturer on the Tourism Management Program at the International College, Dhurakij Pundit University, Thailand. He is also a guest lecturer at Kasetsart University in Thailand, teaching tourism industry in Southeast Asia.
