Study Asia in Lund!

In your studies of East and South-East Asia you will learn to describe, explain and understand the social, political and economic development in the region and in individual countries.

In our stand-alone courses as well as in our master's programme you will meet teachers who are engaged in both teaching and research and have broad experience from the region.

We focus on the development of different countries but also study the region's importance in international politics. You can read our master's programme, but also individual courses at both bachelor level and master level that focus on different themes - eg. international relations, human rights, development issues or digital development or courses that focuses on the developments in Southeast Asia as a region or in individual countries such as Japan and China.
