    I am the Centre's intern for the 2024 fall semester. As a part of my role I help with administrative tasks, organizing, social media, marketing, etc. 

    I graduated from the Centre's MSc in Asian Studies programme in 2024. My thesis is titled "Selling successful futures: lived experiences and promotional material of the shingakujuku industry in Tokyo." My main research interest is education and cram schools in East Asia (specifically Japan), but I am also interested in social issues, religion, and international relations.
