Directed by Chris Kelly

"A Cambodian spring" documents a growing wave of land-right protests in the context of rapid development shaping today's Cambodia. Shot over six years, the story takes off in 2007 depicting land conflict over the area around Boeung Kak lake in Phnom Penh, and culminates in the large-scale political upheavals of 2013 and their aftermath.

Three land right activists are portrayed in detail: two young women at the forefront of protests, and a Buddhist monk.
