Admission requirements

Bachelor level courses

To be eligible for admission to our courses on Bachelor level you must

• meet the general admission requirements and have completed higher education studies worth 30 credits
• have oral and written language proficiency in English equivalent to English 6/B from Swedish upper secondary school.

Master level courses

To be eligible for admission to our courses on Master level you must

• have a degree of Bachelor in social sciences or humanities
• have oral and written language proficiency in English equivalent to English 6/B from Swedish upper secondary school.

When to apply

For the autumn semester of 2023

• Application period: 15 March-17 April 2023

For the spring semester of 2023

• Application period: 15 September - 17 October 2022

How to apply

Applications are made online using the national University Admissions in Sweden website and you apply via the Swedish version www.antagning.se. If you are not familiar with the Swedish language we recommend that you take these steps:

Go you www.universityadmissions.se (the English version of the admission web site) and create your account (log in) and inform yourself on the application process.

Then go to the Swedish version www.antagning.se and log in with the account you just created.

Find the course you would like to study in the menu to the left (direct links from the course to the admission web site will be available during the application period), or type the application number "LU-XXXXX" in the green field at antagningen.se.

Click on the button "Sök" ("Apply").

Click on the arrow "Välj" (select) and then on "Till anmälan" (to the application) in the blue square on the right hand corner.

If everything is correct, press "Fortsätt" (Continue/confirm application), and make your application at www.antagning.se.
