Visual Methods and Practices in Research: New Work, Ideas and Approaches

Workshop 21-22 April at the Centre

This workshop will discuss ethical, methodological, and practical issues and choices when using visual methods. Five keynote speakers from different disciplines will share and discuss their work using images, multimedia and film as part of their research.

The workshop invites a limited number of participants at Lund University to present and discuss either previous and on-going work, or ideas for research projects, using visual methods. Participants who want to present should submit a short abstract, 300 words to marina [dot] svensson [at] ace [dot] lu [dot] se (marina[dot]svensson[at]ace[dot]lu[dot]se) by 5 April. Ph.D. students who present and attend the whole workshop and write a reflection paper of 5 pages based on some of the suggested literature can if their supervisor approves receive 3 credits.
