We are incredibly proud to celebrate Gina, Chontida and Tabita, who on Friday 29 May were conferred their doctoral degrees at Lund University’s annual ceremony in Lund Cathedral.

This long-standing academic tradition marks the occasion when new doctors receive their doctoral insignia, including the hat or laurel wreath, in recognition of their achievements. The ceremony is known as promotion in Swedish, from the Latin verb promovere, meaning to advance or to promote.
