Calls for visiting Ph.D. students

The Centre invites Swedish and Nordic Ph.D. students with a focus on East and South-East Asia to spend 1 month at the Centre during the fall of 2019.

We are able to pay for accommodation at the University Guest House for one month for up to two PhD candidates who needs housing, and will in addition provide office space, access to the library, as well as possibilities to organize a research seminar.

Interested Ph.D. students should submit

  • a CV,
  • a short Ph.D. project description (two pages)
  • and a statement on how they would benefit from a stay at the Centre.

The application should also indicate a preferred period during the fall semester (i.e. between 1 September and 20 December 2019).
