Yuling Shen
Shen Yuling was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Centre for East and Southeast Asian Studies, Lund University between December 2008 and March 2009. She received a PhD in Geography at Department of Geography, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2007. She received her Master degree in Physical Geography in Xinjiang Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1988, and since then she is a research fellow working in the institute. Her research interests are water and land management in Xinjiang, China. During 2004-2007 she took part in the research project of Norway Research Council, NFR-number 161570/V10: ‘Harvest from wasteland. Land, people and water management reforms in the dryland of Xinjiang.’
