Cesar de Prado Yepes was a Research Fellow at the Centre for East and South-East Asian Studies at Lund University 2002-2003.
In April 2002 he defended a Ph.D. thesis in the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the European University Institute titled “Technology Investment Expectations and Multi-level Protection Patterns; standardisation of info-communications sectors in the triad."
In the 2002-3 academic year he worked on the role of think-tanks and related epistemic policy actors behind the construction of an East Asian Community. That research became a substantial part in a chapter of the book Global Multi-level Governance: European and East Asian Leadership which appeared in 2007 from the United Nations University Press in Tokyo.
