Christian Göbel and Magnus Andersson receive travel grants to attend IPSA/ECPR Joint Conference

The Wenner-Gren Foundations have awarded grants to Christian Göbel and Magnus Andersson for a joint conference hosted by the International Political Science Organisation (IPSA) and the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) in Sao Paolo, Brazil, where Christian co-organizes the section on "Comparing Autocracies and Hybrid Regimes". Christian and Magnus and chair the panel "Institution Building in Autocracies and the Quality of Democratic Successor Regimes in Asia" and will also present a co-authored paper on "Authoritarian Institution Building and the Quality of Democracy in Taiwan and Thailand". The support by the Wenner-Gren Foundations is greatly appreciated
