Dr. Karl Gustafsson receives award for best dissertation

Dr. Karl Gustafsson has been awarded the Stockholm University Association’s (Högskoleföreningen) award for distinguished academic achievement. The award is given to the authors of the best doctoral dissertations each year in three faculties, the Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Social Sciences and once every four years for the Faculty of Law. Dr. Gustafsson was awarded the prize for best dissertation within the Faculty of Social Sciences in 2011. In 2011, 66 doctoral dissertations were defended at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Dr. Gustafsson will receive the award at the Association’s autumn meeting in November. As a prize winner, Dr. Gustafsson will be giving a lecture during the Researcher’s Days, which are open to the general public, at Stockholm University in October.
