The Chinese collection at the Asia Library consists of about 8000 volumes. This collection reflects the interests of the researchers at the Centre for East and South-East Asian studies and the Centre for Languages and literature, Chinese. It’s a relatively varied collection. Over the years it has been focusing on several different subjects, such as social sciences, law, statistics, fiction, languages and history, both older Chinese collections in classical Chinese and modern history, with a particular interest paid to the Chinese cultural revolution.
