
There are no application or tuition fees for students who are citizens of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.
Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are generally required to pay application and tuition fees. There are some exceptions to this general rule.

Tuition fees for the Master's Programme in Asian Studies
The living cost for students is estimated to be around 7,500 SEK per month.
If you require a visa/residence permit you must present documents guaranteeing your financial support when applying for a visa.
Your residence permit will allow you to work during your studies here in Lund. However, based on experience there is very little time left for work in addition to your studies and extra work is difficult to find if you don’t know Swedish, so you cannot rely on this for your financial support.
