The Chinese collection
The Chinese collection at the Asia Library consists of about 6000 volumes. This collection reflects the interests of the researchers at the Centre for East and South-East Asian studies. It’s a relatively varied collection. Over the years it has been focusing on several different subjects, such as social sciences, law, statistics, fiction, and modern history, with a particular interest paid to the Chinese cultural revolution. Older history books, as well as books on literature and linguistics, has been transfered to SOL library at the Faculty of Humanities due to the move of the Centre.
