Astrid Norén-Nilsson’s book "Cambodia’s Second Kingdom: Nation, Imagination, and Democracy" shortlisted for EuroSEAS Social Science Book Prize.

Astrid Norén-Nillson’s book Cambodia’s Second Kingdom: Nation, Imagination, and Democracy (Ithaca: Cornell Southeast Asia Program 2016) has been shortlisted for EuroSEAS Social Science Book Prize for the best academic book on Southeast Asia published in the social sciences – including anthropology, economics, law, politics and international relations, and sociology.

The European Association for Southeast Asian Studies (EuroSEAS) will award the book prizes at its 9th Conference in Oxford, 16-18 August 2017.
