Teaching

In the beginning of my teaching career I mainly taught courses on Chinese history and contemporary society for undergraduate students. Since 2004 I mainly teach at the master level and supervise and exam master theses. I also serve as supervisor for Ph.D. students and as external examiner for Ph.D theses.

Although my research focus is China, my teaching today also addresses other Asian countries. At the Centre I have developed and am currently responsible for the following courses:

  • Chinese society
  • Human Rights in Asia
  • Media and Popular Culture in Asia
  • Digital Asia
